Job Description

We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Junior Procurement Operations Specialist to join our procurement team in India. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to learn and develop within a dynamic, globally-focused organization. The successful candidate will assist in managing procurement processes, coordinating with vendors, and providing operational support to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, while diligently maintaining comprehensive procurement records.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding procedures and ensure compliance with all necessary documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively gather and define procurement requirements.
• Monitor and report on key procurement metrics and delivery timelines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within procurement systems and related tools.
• Ensure strict adherence to established procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a closely related discipline.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience in procurement, operations, or administrative support functions (internships or relevant project experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP or Coupa is desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and demonstrate initiative in taking on new responsibilities.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with a solutions-focused attitude.
