The HSBC Technology India Hackathon 2025 provides an opportunity for students in their seventh semester of college to tackle significant engineering challenges and showcase their abilities in a dynamic and creative atmosphere. Qualifications
- College Student Status: Open to students currently enrolled in their seventh semester of a B.E. or B.Tech program in Computer Science or Information Technology, scheduled to graduate in 2026.
- Academic Standing: Applicants must have maintained a minimum of 70% or a 7 CGPA throughout their academic history (10th grade, 12th grade or Diploma, and B.E./B.Tech), and must not have any outstanding backlogs during the hiring or onboarding phases.
- Individual or Team Registration: Participants are required to register for this hackathon on an individual basis.
- Area of Interest: Participants should possess a strong interest in fields such as AI/ML, Cryptography, Data Science, and API or Micro-service Engineering.
- Commitment to Ethical Conduct: Participants must commit to upholding ethical standards and adhering to fair play principles in all solutions developed during the hackathon.
- Internship, Pre-Placement Offer (PPO), and No Objection Certificate (NOC): The hackathon may provide an internship opportunity lasting between 4 and 6 months. Selected students must provide a NOC from their college or institute, confirming their institution’s approval for participation in the internship. Students shortlisted from the hackathon will be considered for PPO discussions during subsequent HSBC Connect sessions.
