Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of code modifications, encompassing development, testing, code reviews, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Implement open-source tools for instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and debugging production services to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service uptime during off-hours, ensuring continuous availability.
- Engage in architectural discussions to contribute to the future direction of our services, enhancing the experiences for IBM development teams.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and methodologies, with a focus on cloud infrastructure (VPC, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Istio, Akamai, etc.).
- Provide exceptional support to end-users by collaborating with development teams to understand their requirements and optimize their build processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science or Information Science.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Golang, C++, Java, or Python.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning capabilities.
