Qualifications
- General Duty (GD):
(i) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
(ii) Must have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to the Intermediate or Class XII level within a 10+2+3 educational framework or its equivalent. Candidates who have completed their graduation following a diploma are also eligible, provided their diploma curriculum included Physics and Mathematics. - Technical (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics):
(i) Must hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in one of the following disciplines: Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial and Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace.ORAn equivalent qualification in any of the aforementioned disciplines that is recognized by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempting from sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).
(ii) Must possess an Engineering degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields: Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, or Power Electronics.ORAn equivalent qualification in any of the aforementioned disciplines that is recognized by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempting from sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of their Associate Membership Examination (AMIE).
(iii) Must have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to the Intermediate or Class XII level within a 10+2+3 educational framework or its equivalent.
