The tenure of the Apprenticeship Training is for a period of 12 months, commencing from the execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
IIT Tirupati may engage them as Institute Trainees for another one year based on the Institute’s requirement, suitability, and mutual consent. However, there is no obligation to employ apprentices upon completion of their training as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
Candidates are required to bring a duly filled application form, self-certified copies of educational certificates and mark sheets (10th, Graduation/Diploma), category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), valid photo identity card, Aadhaar card, copy of bank passbook, medical fitness certificate, and two passport-sized photographs.
Yes, candidates should be at least 18 years of age as on the date of selection.
No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.
Other Information
The selection process is a walk-in selection. Candidates must register on www.mhrdnats.gov.in. Hostel accommodation may be provided on a payment basis, subject to availability. Transportation will not be provided. The number of apprentices mentioned is indicative and subject to change. Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification.
