Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the relevant product area, codebase architecture, and underlying systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming methodologies, and general software engineering principles.
• Produce high-quality, well-documented code that incorporates robust test coverage, utilizing modern software abstractions and frameworks.
• Work autonomously, effectively leveraging available resources to overcome obstacles, and complete assigned tasks on schedule, exhibiting strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Master Meta’s internal development standards, encompassing the entire software development lifecycle from initial development to code release, to successfully manage tasks and projects with increasing complexity.
• Actively solicit and provide constructive feedback, aligning with Meta’s established Performance Philosophy.

Qualifications

• Currently possesses, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree completion is required prior to commencing employment with Meta.
• Demonstrated experience coding in at least one industry-standard programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Must possess and maintain valid work authorization in the country of employment throughout the duration of employment with Meta.
