Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team and ensure high service uptime across critical IT environments including Cloud, Server, Network, Storage, and Database. This role is designed for an individual with a customer-first mindset, who will leverage the ‘Working Backwards’ philosophy to develop and optimize monitoring tools that meet customer needs. The position involves significant cross-functional collaboration with global teams, operating under a ‘Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast’ approach. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic, customer-centric setting and utilize a modern, data-driven methodology for operational tasks. Experience with AI-powered tools and automation is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities
- Monitor L1 Resources across all domains (IT Environment: Cloud, Server, Network, Storage, Database) and implement corrective actions to maintain high service uptime.
- Work an evening OR night shift.
- Create and set up monitoring alerts and dashboards.
- Design and develop infrastructure monitoring, reporting tools, and configuration management tools.
- Demonstrate curiosity in leveraging AI to enhance daily operations and adapt quickly to new AI tools for workflow improvement.
- Fine-tune configurations to preserve the performance and functionality of existing monitoring solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports, and provide follow-up status on identified tasks.
- Manage outage processes and escalations following standard procedures.
- Follow up with various engineering teams on pending high-priority tickets.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with teams in the US and Canada.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of AI concepts and familiarity with current AI tools used for monitoring.
- Proficiency with major cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
- Working knowledge of Linux scripting fundamentals.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
