Job Description

MANAGE is seeking an eligible candidate for the role of Batch Coordinator for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agribusiness Management) program. This position is based in the School of Agri-business Management and involves coordinating various academic and administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of the PGDM (ABM) program. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with an initial tenure of one year, subject to extension based on performance and organizational needs. The age limit for applicants is up to 35 years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage correspondence with regulatory agencies such as AICTE, NBA, and AIU.
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily academic operations of the program.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the academic calendar.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between students, faculty members, and administrative departments.
  • Organize and manage guest lectures, faculty visits, and institutional events.
  • Process and settle bills for guest faculty and programs conducted during the academic year.
  • Perform examination invigilation duties.
  • Ensure effective classroom management.
  • Maintain and manage the academic portal.
  • Handle data and record management with strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate technical and administrative proficiency.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Head & PC (SABM).

Qualifications

  • A Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Social Sciences, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, achieving first division or an equivalent overall grade point from an accredited university or institution.
  • Possession of good English communication and teaching abilities.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in academic administration, coordination, or program management, preferably within management or agricultural institutions.
  • Publication of research papers in Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS rated journals with a rating of ≥ 4.0.
  • Previous experience working with agribusiness or management programs.
