Responsibilities
- Managing all official correspondence and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as AICTE, NBA, and AIU.
- Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day academic operations of the program.
- Assisting in the meticulous preparation and timely execution of the academic calendar.
- Serving as the primary point of contact and liaison among students, faculty members, and various administrative offices.
- Organizing and coordinating guest lectures, faculty visits, and institutional events.
- Processing and settling bills related to guest faculty engagements and various programs organized throughout the academic year.
- Performing examination invigilation duties as required.
- Ensuring effective classroom management and support.
- Managing and updating the academic portal.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential data and records for the program.
- Demonstrating strong technical and administrative proficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Undertaking any additional duties assigned by the Head and Programme Coordinator (School of Agri-Business Management).
Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Social Sciences, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. Both degrees should be awarded with a first division or an equivalent overall grade point from a recognized university or institution.
- Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management (Preference will be given).
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in academic administration, coordination, or programme management, ideally within management or agricultural institutions (Desirable).
- Publication of research papers in Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated journals with a score of 4.0 or higher (Desirable).
- Prior professional experience working specifically with agribusiness or management programmes (Desirable).
