Job Description

Netcore is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our high-performing engineering division. You will play a vital role in the development of our AI/ML-powered customer engagement platform, tackling complex challenges at a substantial level. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency services that handle terabytes of data and deliver billions of communications for more than 5,000 global brands.

Responsibilities

• Design and build mission-critical backend services and APIs to establish fault-tolerant and horizontally scalable engineering systems.
• Develop essential components of our campaign generation engine, capable of managing communications at speeds reaching 10 million per minute.
• Engineer complex, real-time user segmentation engines that process terabytes of data within seconds.
• Build and maintain services that power real-time dashboards, providing critical performance indicators to our clients.
• Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes clusters running in VPCs across our global, multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize cloud-native services, such as AWS Lambda, to achieve high throughput and auto-scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle to meet deliverables and foster innovation.
• Identify and address opportunities for system enhancement through performance analysis, data insights, and research.

Qualifications

• 0-7 years of experience developing high-scale, distributed internet applications and API-based services.
• Proficient professional experience in Go (Golang), Java, or Python as a primary development language.
• Proven experience designing and working with high-scale, real-time architectures.
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging and queueing systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for addressing the challenges of real-time, high-scale applications.
