Responsibilities
- Create, alter, and carry out software test strategies.
- Support, direct, create, collaborate with, and put into practice automation plans for both major and minor CNS CMG product features.
- Create, write, run, and maintain complex tests to ensure that engineering-implemented features and their functionality adhere to the requirements specifications established by product management.
- In order to provide feature functionality in the MG product, you will need to work closely with software developers, test engineers, tools engineers, product managers, technical documentation writers, and support teams. You will be in charge of seeing features through to completion (ready for GA release).
- Participate in system design to ensure that quality assurance is taken into account at every stage of the product's lifetime.
- Observe the ISMS (ISO27001 program) and any other Nokia information security rules and guidelines.
Education Qualifications
- familiarity with Python and other scripting languages and test automation
Skills
- Understanding of networking protocols, including TCP, IPv6/IPv4, and troubleshooting
- If you also have, that would be great.
- familiarity with and familiarity with 3GPP standards (UMTS, LTE, 5G)
- familiarity with packet core network components, including E2E call flows for 4G and 5G, PGW, SGW, and SMF
- Knowledge of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and associated technologies, including Openstack, VMware, KVM/QEMU, and Kubernetes
- familiarity in developing and implementing test strategies.
- familiarity with using network monitoring tools, such Wireshark, to examine sent and received messages.
