Responsibilities
- **Outreach Worker (Female):** Each Child Protection Unit at the district level shall have two Outreach Workers reporting to Protection Officers and Legal-cum-Probation Officers. Each Outreach Worker will assist their respective Officer in executing their roles and responsibilities. The number of Outreach Workers may be increased up to a maximum of five (05) based on the number of blocks, geographical spread, population of the district, and caseload. They will serve as a link between the community and the District Child Protection Unit, identifying families and children at risk and offering necessary support services. The Outreach Workers will also be responsible for developing effective networking and linkages with Anganwadi workers and members of Panchayat/local bodies at the community/block levels. They should encourage volunteerism amongst local youth and involve them in the child protection program at block and community levels.
- **Ayah:** Responsible for looking after the Sisugruha children, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, surrounding areas, including play articles and cradles of children, and ensuring proper timely feeding to the children. They will be required to work in shift systems and night stay is also required.
Qualifications
- **Outreach Worker (Female):** 12th passed from a recognized Board/ Equivalent Board. Must possess good communication skills. Weightage will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
- **Ayah:** Should possess experience in caring for infants below 5 years of age.
