Job Description
The Data Analyst will provide support for dashboards, reports, scheduling, and data operations under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key duties include importing data from designated systems, performing routine data checks, maintaining documentation, and assisting with quality assurance processes. This position is designed for skill development in Microsoft 365 and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities
- Assist in importing data from approved sources such as PDH and OBIA/OBIEE.
- Help reconcile routine reports across various geographies using Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
- Support teams in managing schedules, dashboards, and workflows; ensure tracker hygiene and update status information.
- Create basic charts and graphs to compare planned, trending, and actual delivery durations, identifying deviations and flagging potential risks.
- Prepare dashboards to display delivery statuses (early, on-time, delayed) segmented by region and maintain the refresh schedule.
- Troubleshoot Smartsheet access issues by following documented procedures, submit and track access requests, and process access removals when necessary.
- Perform data housekeeping tasks, including cleanup and deduplication, and support routine backups in accordance with team standards.
- Update workflow and process documentation, including naming conventions and change logs.
- Support quality assurance activities, such as spot checks, sample validation, and link checks, under supervision.
- Collaborate with business colleagues to understand reporting requirements, capture meeting notes, and translate them into actionable task lists.
- Contribute to the development of new workflows and the maintenance of existing ones, drafting step-by-step guides with screenshots as needed.
- Participate in Smartsheet onboarding, incorporating best practices for access control, automation, backups, and documentation from internal guidance pages to aid new hire ramp-up.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Possess foundational analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into manageable steps.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
- Exhibit clear written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Possess basic experience with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project/worksheet tools is advantageous, as training will be provided.
