Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with both scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, agitators, and gearboxes.
- Contribute to the daily operation and continuous monitoring of essential utility systems, encompassing chillers, boilers, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and air compressors.
- Collaborate closely with members of the engineering team to effectively diagnose mechanical problems and subsequently implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Engage in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of equipment, working under the direct guidance and supervision of senior engineers.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure rigorous adherence to all established safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Uphold the organization and cleanliness of the workshop and broader plant areas, and assist in the maintenance of tools and spare parts inventory.
- Acquire knowledge of and consistently apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) pertaining to mechanical maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; graduates from the 2024 or 2025 academic year are preferred.
- Must fulfill eligibility requirements for apprenticeship programs under the NATS/BOAT (Board of Apprenticeship Training) scheme.
- Demonstrated strong interest in mechanical systems and the maintenance thereof, particularly within a manufacturing context.
