Job Description

POWERGRID is seeking experienced professionals in Transmission/ Tele Communication Systems for engagement at various work sites on a fixed-term contract basis. These positions are for ongoing and anticipated projects across different regions of POWERGRID, as well as in its subsidiaries, through the POWERGRID Common FTE Written Test-2025.

The engagement is strictly temporary and contractual, with an initial term of 24 months or until project completion, whichever occurs first. This contractual period may be extended annually for up to three years, with a cumulative maximum duration of five years, contingent upon project requirements. It is important to note that this engagement does not automatically guarantee regular employment within POWERGRID.

Qualifications

• **Field Engineer (Electrical)**
• Full-time B.E /B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
• One-year post-qualification experience in Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc., in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-Stations (S/S), etc.
• Experience in a PSU / Listed company, particularly in the power sector, is preferred.
• **Field Engineer (Civil)**
• Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil discipline or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
• One-year post-qualification experience in Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc., in rural electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ transmission lines (TLs)/ substations (S/S), etc.
• Experience in a PSU / Listed company, particularly in the power sector, is preferred.
• **Field Supervisor (Electrical)**
• Full-Time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline from a recognized Technical Board / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
• One-year post-qualification experience in Construction/ Testing & commissioning/ Electrical works, etc., in rural electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ transmission lines (TLs)/ sub-stations (S/S), etc.
• Experience in a PSU / Listed company, particularly in the power sector, is preferred.
• **Field Supervisor (Civil)**
• Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.

• **Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication)**
• Full-time Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
• One year post-qualification experience of design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ operation & maintenance of Tele Communication System.
