Job Description
Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada is inviting applications for multiple positions to be filled on a contract or outsourcing basis for an initial period of one year. The selection process will be conducted by the District Selection Committee. The recruitment will follow the Rule of Reservation as per Government Orders. Specific educational qualifications and experience requirements are detailed for each post. Merit will be calculated based on aggregate marks, weightage for experience in government service, and weightage for the number of years since passing the qualifying examination. Qualifications
- C-Arm Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent, possessing a Diploma in C-Arm Technician from a Government recognized Medical College/Institute with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant field and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- OT Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent, possessing a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician/Operation Theatre Technician from a Government recognized Institute with registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- EEG Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent, possessing a Diploma in EEG Technology (NCS, EMG, EP) from a recognized Institution or B.Sc. in Neurophysiology Technology with 2 years of experience and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- Dialysis Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent from a recognized Board, possessing a B.Sc. in Dialysis Technician or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- Radiotherapy Technician: Must have passed B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technician or equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with LINAC, and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- Mould Room Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent, possessing a Diploma in Paramedical Technology (Orthotics & Prosthetics) or equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience in working with L.I.M.C. and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- CT Technician: Must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent, possessing a Diploma in CT Technician or equivalent from a recognized institution and registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh.
- General Duty Attendant: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent from a recognized School.
- Drivers (Heavy Vehicle) (Male): Must be below 30 years of age, possessing a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license, and have at least 10 years of experience in driving Heavy Motor Vehicles in Government/Private sector.
- Cleaners / Van Attendant (Male): Must be able to read and write Telugu and have passed SSC or its equivalent.
- Counselors (Alcohol and Drug De-addiction Center): Must have passed Intermediate or equivalent, possessing a Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling with at least 2 years of experience in drug de-addiction counseling from a recognized institution. Should have a certificate for 3 months in Drug De-addiction Counseling from a recognized institution.
- General eligibility for Contract posts: Passed Intermediate or equivalent. For specific posts, additional qualifications like Diploma or Degree in the relevant field are required, along with registration with the Paramedical Board of Andhra Pradesh and relevant experience.
- General eligibility for Outsourcing posts: Passed SSC or equivalent. For specific posts, additional qualifications and experience may be required.
- Drivers (Heavy Vehicle) specific: Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license and at least 10 years of practical driving experience in Heavy Motor Vehicles in Government/Private sector.
- Counselors specific: Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling and a certificate for 3 months in Drug De-addiction Counseling from a recognized institution.

The positions are initially for a period of one year.
The application fee is Rs. 750/- for OC/BC and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST for each post. It should be remitted by Demand Draft in favor of ‘College Development Society, Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada’ to Account No. 35819525930 at State Bank of India, Sriram Nagar Branch, Kakinada.
Applications, along with the Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT receipts, must be submitted on or before December 27, 2025, by 04:00 PM.
The maximum age limit is 42 years for OC candidates and 47 years for SC/ST candidates as of July 1, 2025. Relaxations are permitted as per government rules.
Merit will be calculated based on the aggregate of marks in the qualifying examination (100%), weightage for experience in government service (up to 15%), and weightage for the number of years since passing the qualifying examination (up to 10 marks).
Other Information
Local candidates are defined as those who have submitted study certificates from 4th to 10th class (continuously for 4 years) belonging to the Erstwhile East Godavari District. Applications must be submitted along with DD/RTGS/NEFT receipts. Old caste certificates will not be accepted.
