Job Description

The Engineering function within the Product Development team is responsible for the creation of specifications and designs for novel products, as well as improvements and enhancements to existing product lines. This involves close collaboration with customers, developers, and other relevant stakeholders to effectively understand and define customer needs within these designs. Features are developed in accordance with established timelines and defined areas of responsibility.

Developers may proactively solicit feedback from customers regarding product usability and solicit suggestions for future enhancements. Software Engineers tasked with designing, writing, and testing code for the product should be appropriately aligned with either Software Engineering Applications or Systems teams. Product developers specializing in hardware systems should be assigned to Hardware Engineering teams.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with senior developers, actively contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Working alongside skilled professionals, you will learn industry best practices and gain valuable insights into diverse development methodologies, enabling you to:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components, ensuring that software behavior consistently meets specified requirements through both manual and automated testing procedures. Deliver high-quality products within established timelines. Create comprehensive documentation of product designs. Analyze, debug, and assist in resolving customer-reported issues. Foster effective collaboration and communication with all stakeholders involved in the process.
• Explore a broad range of technologies, expanding your skillset with various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, based on the specific requirements of our projects.
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts by assisting in the identification and resolution of software defects and issues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a programming language; Java experience is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of fundamental software development principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Exposure to software testing concepts and established methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Familiarity with development tooling, such as Visual Studio.
• Excellent interpersonal, team cooperation, and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a strong interest in and enthusiasm for the healthcare industry.
