Responsibilities
- Implement a robust framework for the review and detailed analysis of various balance sheet accounts, including Fixed Assets (FA), Under Billing Costs (UBC), Inventory, and Accruals.
- Maintain responsibility for ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), specifically regarding Revenue Recognition principles.
- Actively participate in the digitization and automation of existing manual and Excel-based processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Review and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Order to Cash (OTC) processes, including Revenue Forecast Confidence (FC), Inventory levels, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Cycle Time, and Non-Conformance Costs (NCC).
- Identify and spearhead digitalization opportunities, collaborating effectively with Business, Digitalization, and IT teams to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly closing entries, including entries pertaining to Accruals and Guideline-Based Provisions.
- Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss) to identify areas for improvement and determine underlying root causes. Collaborate closely with Business Stakeholders to address identified issues and implement corrective actions.
- Establish effective and efficient processes to facilitate smooth and accurate month-end closing procedures related to Revenue, Accruals, Provisions, and other relevant areas.
