Job Description

The Technology and Customer Applications team is responsible for the complete lifecycle of software solutions, encompassing design, development, delivery, and ongoing support. As a Summer Intern, you will collaborate within a diverse, multi-functional team environment. Collaboration with external teams may also be required to integrate their solutions into our products, always prioritizing the customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to participate in the Early Careers IMPACT (Innovative Mentoring and Professional Acceleration in Commodities) program. This program is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about addressing real-world challenges and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to make a significant impact. Throughout the 18-month program, participants will have the opportunity to explore various roles through three six-month rotations, supported by ongoing coaching and mentorship.

The IMPACT program consists of three six-month rotations (3*6) across different technology domains. These domains may include Full Stack Development, Data Science/AI-ML, Data Engineering/Data Virtualization, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Automation (Test/Infrastructure), Agile Project Management, and Product Development. Each participant will gain specialized knowledge in three to four of these areas during the on-the-job training period. Following the rotations, participants will be assigned to a specific technology area based on their specialization. Each rotation is strategically designed to provide recent graduates with exposure to a diverse range of projects, technologies, and roles, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience.

These rotations will provide invaluable insights into various technological domains, enhance skills, and establish a solid career foundation. Through structured training, mentorship, and diverse project-based assignments, participants will develop a strong foundation in energy research, gain insight into industry best practices, and contribute to solving real-world challenges.
