Job Description

At Stripe, we champion the principle of end-to-end project ownership. For each project, we assign a designated individual who is accountable for its successful completion. While this individual may not be required to execute all aspects of the project independently, they are responsible for ensuring that all necessary tasks are accomplished effectively. Responsibilities

• Collaborate on cross-functional projects, working directly with engineers from various teams.
• Provide constructive and insightful feedback on code reviews and technical designs.
• Ensure the continuous and reliable operation of the systems maintained by your team, ensuring they can scale to accommodate user demand.
• Develop the skills necessary to manage projects from inception to completion, acquiring valuable project management and technical leadership expertise.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or a closely related field, expected to be completed by Summer 2026, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with programming concepts, gained through personal projects or academic coursework. Our primary languages include Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go. We believe that with a solid foundation in fundamental programming principles, new languages can be readily learned.
• Practical experience gained through previous internships or collaborative involvement in multi-person coding projects, whether in a university or professional context.
• The capacity to learn and comprehend unfamiliar systems, developed through independent research and collaboration with mentors and subject matter experts.
