Job Description
The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is inviting applications for direct recruitment to the positions of Traffic Supervisor Trainee (TST) and Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (MST) within the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). Qualifications
- For Traffic Supervisor Trainee (Post Code No. 47): Must possess a Graduate Degree awarded by any university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification as on 1st July 2025.
- For Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (Post Code No. 48): Must have passed Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Telangana or its equivalent qualification in the same discipline as on 1st July 2025. Candidates possessing higher qualifications like BE / B.Tech / AMIE in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering are also eligible.
- Age Limit (General): Must have attained 18 years and not have attained 25 years as on 1st July 2025. An additional relaxation of 12 years in the upper age limit for direct recruitment has been granted by the Government of Telangana.
- Age Relaxations: Ex-Servicemen – 3 years plus length of service in Armed Forces; SCs, STs, BCs, and EWS category – 5 years.
- Departmental Employees (TGSRTC in-service): Age relaxation based on service rendered, with upper age limits not exceeding 45 years (for SC/ST/BC) or 40 years (for others) as on 1st July 2025, after applying all concessions.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must be in good health, mentally and bodily, and free from any defect that could interfere with efficient job performance. Persons with disabilities are not eligible. Specific vision standards (6/24 naked eye, 6/9 corrected, J1 near vision, normal color vision) are required. Color blindness is a disqualification.
- Local Candidate requirements: Candidates claiming reservation as local candidates must submit study certificates (Class 1-7) or residence certificates issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) for the required duration to determine local status.
- Candidates must produce original documents (along with photocopies) for verification at the time of certificate verification or as required. Failure to do so will lead to rejection.
