Job Description
As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in the design, coding, testing, and support of significant software components and bug fixes, adhering to established development processes with a focus on testability and overall quality. You will acquire in-depth expertise in the existing product through reverse engineering and developing a solid understanding of the design and development of enhancements. You will collaborate with team members, project managers, team leaders, customer support, and other engineering teams. This role includes developing enhancements to the Teradata RDBMS product and designing low to medium complexity database enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Involved in the design, coding, testing, and support of significant software components and bug fixes, adhering to established development processes with a focus on testability and overall quality.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech), Master’s (MCA/M.Tech), or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- A minimum of 0 to 3 years of experience in product support or sustaining activities for medium to large-scale projects.
- Extensive experience in C programming and data structures.
- Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL.
- Outstanding creative, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to independently create algorithmic solutions based on complexity and performance considerations.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to work in a mission-critical, 24/7 environment.
