About the Position:
As a Software Engineer at TI, you will be at the forefront of innovative software architecture design, gaining valuable insights into application development. In this capacity, you will be responsible for designing embedded software and development tools essential for product testing. You will also contribute to writing code that governs how chips operate in groundbreaking and novel applications. This role necessitates close collaboration with business partners and customers, as well as TI’s marketing, systems, and applications engineering teams, to collaboratively address business challenges and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities
- Fundamental software development processes and the complete software development lifecycle.
- Embedded software tools, incorporating industry-leading best practices.
- Essential principles for real-time embedded systems design and techniques for writing and debugging code.
- TI device architecture.
- Software IP licensing and Open Source principles.
- Software Development Kits (SDKs).
- EP software and hardware products.
- Cultivating relationships with designers, developers, and the sales organization.
- Developing and deploying comprehensive training materials, documentation, application demonstrations, and illustrative examples.
- Managing the external customer engagement lifecycle (DIN, DWIN).
- Providing direct customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.0/10.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Familiarity with assembly language programming.
- A robust understanding of software engineering processes and the entire software development lifecycle.
