Job Description
SCI is seeking applications for the positions of Assistant Manager (E2) and Executive (E0) from qualified Indian citizens. There are multiple streams available under both roles with varying qualification requirements.

Qualifications
- **Assistant Manager (E2):**
- Management: A full-time two-year MBA / MMS / Equivalent course or a Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management / Management / Shipping / Logistics / Maritime / Supply Chain Management / International Trade / Foreign Trade / Finance from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/ AICTE, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Finance: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with completed mandatory Articleship and ICAI Membership, OR Qualified Cost Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) with completed mandatory Articleship and ICMAI Membership.
- HR/Personnel: A full-time two-year MBA / MMS / Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Equivalent course with a specialization in Personnel Management / HRD / HRM / Industrial Relations / Labour Welfare from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/ AICTE, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Law: A full-time degree in Law (3 years post-graduation / 5 years post 12th standard) from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/BCI, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Engineering (Civil): A full-time four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Equivalent course from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/AICTE, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Engineering (Electrical): A full-time four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Equivalent course from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/AICTE, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Engineering (Mechanical): A full-time four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent course from a University / Institute / College recognized by UGC/AICTE, with a minimum of 60% marks.

Other Information
(i) For the Assistant Manager (E2) position, a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is desirable.
(ii) For the Assistant Manager (E2) position in the Law stream, a Company Secretary (CS) qualification is desirable.
(iii) For the Executive (E0) position, a minimum of one (1) year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
(v) For the Assistant Manager (E2) position, candidates who have appeared for their final examination in 2025 and are awaiting results are eligible to apply, provided they can produce their completion certificate with the required qualification criteria prior to Stage II of the recruitment process (Group Discussion).
(vi) For the HR/Personnel positions, a Master’s in Social Work is not considered equivalent to an MBA / MMS / Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / HRD / HRM / Industrial Relations / Labour Welfare.
(vii) If a University/Institute/College does not specify a specialization in the qualifying degree, certification of specialization in the relevant subject from the University/Institute/College is required. Candidates possessing a 2-year PGDM (Full-time) from IIMs and IITs are exempt from this requirement.
(viii) If Universities/Institutes/Colleges offer a Major and a Minor specialization, the Major specialization must be in the stream applied for. In the case of dual specialization, at least one specialization should align with the applied stream.
(ix) Applicants may only apply for one stream within each vacancy type (Assistant Manager (E2) and Executive (E0)). Multiple applications within the same vacancy type will result in rejection.
(x) Candidates applying based on an equivalent course (any stream) must self-certify in the online application that their completed course is equivalent to the vacancy/stream requirement. If shortlisted, they must provide documentary evidence from the relevant authority confirming the equivalence of their course. Candidates are advised to proactively obtain this documentation.
