Responsibilities
- Analyze, key, convert, code, copyread, edit, merge, render, load, or validate data for legal and regulatory products.
- Support team publishing goals by meeting deadlines.
- Prepare data for publishing legal and regulatory products in print and/or electronic form.
- Work with various systems, software, databases, and applications to deliver quality products.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of work product.
- Develop competence in scheduling and administrative systems, as well as computer file management.
- Work successfully in a team environment and understand team members’ roles.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
- Prioritize own work and participate in the performance management process.
- Contribute to seamless implementation of process migrations.
- Focus on learning and executing existing practices and procedures.
- Ability to work with team members, contacts from other teams, departments, virtual and off-site teams/vendors or sourcing partners effectively.
Qualifications
- 0 – Less than 12 Months Experience
- Familiarity with legal terminology and court, legislative, and regulatory levels is desirable.
- Previous publishing experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills, including composition/grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong learning agility; ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to increasingly complex and changing work.
- Technical aptitude for computer applications and systems such as word processing and file management applications.
- Ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple assignments and tasks.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in normal office hours and environments.
- Extensive reading and exposure to personal computers.
- Extra hours may be required to meet deadlines.
