Job Description

We presently have partnerships with over 114 airlines worldwide, over 3.6 million hotel inventories (including 400+ exclusive properties including hotels, villas, and apartments), and over 10,000 events and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand our backend programming using the Clean programming and SOLID Principles.
  • Create APIs that power our front-end applications; measure and enhance efficiency
  • Construct APIs to support our front-end applications; measure and enhance performance
  • Updating and expanding our test suite
  • Rewrite current code and make it better by incorporating better patterns.
  • Make that the code is operating correctly by creating unit tests and implementing self tests.
  • Help the technical lead examine and monitor the developed code.

Education Qualifications

  • a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, ideally in information technology or computer science
  • preferably in computer science or information technology, a bachelor's degree or its equivalent

Skills

  • 0–2 years of backend development experience
  • knowledgeable in using Java and Golang
  • It's advantageous to have prior RDBMS or NoSQL experience.
  • Working knowledge of Redis and Memcached is advantageous.
  • Knowledge about Elastic Search
  • familiarity with event-driven architecture, such that of RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture: RabbitMQ, Kafka,
  • Knowledge about Git Flow
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes is advantageous.
  • possesses log analysis skills
  • Proficiency in pair programming is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Linux syntax is advantageous.
  • strong sense of priorities, product ownership, and product knowledge
  • Excellent communication abilities, quick learning curve, and critical thinking
