Job Description

We are seeking a Jr. Enterprise Systems Monitoring Engineer to ensure the continuous uptime and optimal performance of various client projects. This role involves monitoring systems, identifying potential issues, and proactively resolving them to maintain service levels. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24×7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the uptime and availability of client projects through diligent monitoring and proactive intervention.
• Document all incidents, actions, and resolutions by creating and updating tickets within the designated ticketing system.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with various teams and colleagues across Zeta Global’s global offices.
• Apply a fundamental understanding of network and monitoring principles to identify and resolve issues.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute effectively as a collaborative team member.
• Comfortably adapt to and perform duties within a 24×7 operational environment, ensuring continuous coverage.
• Approach challenging situations with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Utilize analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE / B. Tech) or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Master’s degree in Science (MSC) with a specialization in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems is essential.
• Familiarity and practical knowledge of basic SQL database concepts, networking fundamentals, and ticketing systems are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Candidates should possess exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
• A highly structured, organized approach to work with a strong attention to detail is crucial.
