Responsibilities

  • Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and frameworks to streamline processes, minimize manual intervention, enhance system efficiency, and optimize deployment pipelines.
  • Infrastructure and Cloud Management: Manage the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of diverse cloud infrastructure environments. Implement strategies for monitoring system performance and forecasting capacity requirements to guarantee a scalable and robust infrastructure.
  • Build Deployment and Maintenance: Participate in build deployment activities across various data centers, utilizing our proprietary CI/CD pipeline. Ensure continuous service availability and optimal performance.
  • Performance and Monitoring: Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to facilitate proactive detection and rapid resolution of system-related issues.
  • Security and Compliance: Adhere to cloud security best practices, implement stringent access control policies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Handling: Respond promptly and effectively to system alerts, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to mitigate future incidents.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Zero to two years of relevant experience in cloud automation, cloud infrastructure management, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python is essential.
  • Cloud and Networking: A solid understanding of cloud networking principles, security concepts, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) fundamentals is required.
  • Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Networking Tools: Experience using networking tools such as netstat, ping, traceroute, nc, ssh/scp, wireshark, and tcpdump.
  • CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and experience with related tools.
  • SRE Concepts: A working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles, including Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), to ensure optimal system reliability.
  • Shift Requirement: Willingness to work in rotational shifts to provide 24×7 support for critical system operations.

Skills

Comprehensive understanding of networking and cloud networking concepts.
Practical knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Basic understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployment strategies.
