We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Support Specialist to play a crucial role in the preparation, review, and overall coordination of mortgage loan files throughout the entire lending process. Responsibilities

- Thoroughly review loan applications for completeness and accuracy, promptly addressing any potential errors or omissions to ensure a smooth processing workflow.
- Compile and systematically organize all loan documents, ensuring that they are properly prepared for underwriting and subsequent processing stages.
- Consistently adhere to all deadlines associated with loan applications, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely submission and processing.
- Promptly correct any errors or discrepancies found within loan applications, maintaining a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Support post-closing functions, including participation in audits and the accurate processing of mortgage files.
- Collect all required documentation from third-party vendors, including Homeowner’s Insurance (HOI), title companies, Verification of Employment (VOE) services, and payoff providers.
- Critically review all essential documents provided by clients, verifying their completeness and accuracy prior to submission for underwriting review.
- Verify that all mortgage disclosures are complete, properly signed by the client, and accurately dated.
- Maintain consistent communication with processors and underwriters regarding any missing or incorrect documentation, facilitating a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Demonstrate unwavering attention to detail and maintain exceptional organizational accuracy in all tasks performed.
