Job Description
GE Aerospace is seeking a Data Science Intern to contribute to digital solutions at its John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru. This role involves working on exploratory projects utilizing data science technologies such as statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI. Interns will be assigned to development teams, work closely with mentors on specific projects, analyze, design, test, and integrate components that meet business and product requirements. The position also requires documenting technical data and effectively communicating findings. The ideal candidate is a technology enthusiast with strong programming skills and a passion for learning and problem-solving in the aerospace domain.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of Data Science technologies, including statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI.
- Collaborate closely with an assigned mentor on project-specific tasks.
- Analyze, design, test, and integrate system components to meet established business standards and program/product requirements.
- Document technical data generated during assigned projects in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present technical data, alongside communicating the results derived from that data.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a B.Tech (3rd or 4th year) or M.Tech (1st or 2nd year) degree from a reputable institution.
- Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a specialization in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence (preferred).
- Minimum academic standing of 7 CGPA or 70% with no active backlogs.
- Must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities before offer issuance.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and applications.
