Job Description

Sports Vertical:
Encompasses all areas excluding Business/Operations/Marketing/Sales/Brand Solutions/Tech Roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the SEO team in the execution of on-page optimization strategies by refining website content for improved search engine visibility.
• Demonstrate curiosity, effective problem-solving skills, and a proactive willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as they arise.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including the proficient application of pivot tables, filters, and VLOOKUP functions.
• Effectively utilize Google Trends to identify and communicate meaningful and relevant trending topics to the content team for potential article development.
• Maintain current awareness of US sports news pertaining to players and their activities to effectively track important developments and breaking stories.
• Provide assistance to the SEO team with daily and weekly analytical tasks for various sports, including data sourcing, data cleansing, and high-level data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Conduct comprehensive competitive research across multiple sports categories.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of website functionality and architecture.
• Familiarity with MLB, MMA/Boxing, Olympics, and entertainment sectors.
• Exceptional communication skills, including strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
