Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the District Collectorate, AP Economic Development Board (APEDB), Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), District Industries Center (DIC), and Revenue Authorities to identify suitable land and essential infrastructure for supporting IT and Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) projects and the broader IT ecosystem.
- Provide comprehensive oversight and monitoring of Assistant Managers operating at the district level.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, and networks, within offices under the jurisdiction of the District Collector.
- Oversee the implementation and provide ongoing support for IT systems and applications deployed at the Collectorate and its subordinate offices.
- Deliver timely and effective technical support to end-users.
- Enforce rigorous security protocols to protect IT systems and sensitive data.
- Spearhead the planning and execution of IT projects initiated by the ITE&C department at the district level.
- Organize and conduct IT-related events, including webinars, workshops, and trade shows, to promote IT awareness and adoption within the district.
- Engage with key stakeholders to proactively identify and address their IT-related needs and challenges.
- Conceptualize, plan, and implement IT promotion initiatives, campaigns, and awareness programs.
- Evaluate and analyze incentive requests, up to a value of Rs. 10 Lakhs, from firms applying under ITE&C policies and submit recommendations to the General Manager, District Industries Center, for further processing.
- Provide assistance in the maintenance and operational support of e-Office and other e-Governance applications, such as Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), State Performance Management Group (SPMG), Swarnandhra – Swachchandhra, and similar initiatives.
- Undertake any other tasks or assignments as directed by the Managing Director (MD) of APTS Limited.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a B.Tech or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrable and relevant work experience in the IT sector is essential.
- An additional MBA degree is considered a desirable qualification.
