Job Description
Canonical is seeking an entry-level Ubuntu Sales Engineer to join its global Field Engineering team. This role is designed for technically adept, business-minded individuals driven by commercial success, who are passionate about open-source technologies. The Ubuntu Pro Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of Ubuntu Pro and other Canonical technologies among enterprise clients. Responsibilities
- Collect customer business requirements and provide expert advice on Ubuntu and relevant open-source applications.
- Identify challenges faced by customers with open-source solutions and clearly articulate how Ubuntu Pro can offer solutions.
- Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations of Ubuntu Pro to both prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on customer requirements, influencing the future product roadmap.
- Work in tandem with the sales team to achieve shared sales targets.
- Undertake global travel, up to 25% of the time, for internal and external events, and up to 25% for customer meetings.
