Job Description

The Data Analyst will assume responsibility for generating and maintaining the data essential for Cision reports, establishing a robust and reliable foundation of accurate, up-to-date information. The Data Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring the successful completion of all project deliverables and supporting the coding and report development process across all stages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent, high-quality coding analysis in alignment with stringent deadlines by monitoring performance metrics and enforcing established standards.
• Supervise junior coding teams, providing guidance on best practices and delivering actionable feedback to address performance deficiencies, thereby promoting continuous development and enhanced skills.
• Oversee content searches and the data uploading process, prioritize coding assignments, and conduct regular data integrity checks, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of project coding frameworks.
• Leverage knowledge of data flow and available tools to effectively identify and resolve technical issues.
• Provide regular updates to the manager, maintaining open communication channels to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workflow.
• Utilize established reporting templates and tools to contribute to assigned reports, develop charts, conduct research, and formulate insightful qualitative analyses.
• Assume ownership of initial data exports and provide support for charting and report production as needed.
• Provide daily support to Senior Analysts and Team Leads, including tasks such as contact database management, data validation, and report generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience in coding, query development, and data analysis, supplemented by a strong foundation in professional writing and reporting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
• Fluency in English is essential.
