Job Description

At AiDASH, we recognize that clean and reliable data serves as the cornerstone of every insight we provide. As a vital member of our Data Solutions team, the Software Engineering Intern will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our data and model pipelines. This involves transforming raw data inputs into dependable insights that directly support critical customer deliverables. By ensuring the quality and timeliness of data, you will enable our clients to make proactive and cost-effective decisions, thereby guaranteeing the uninterrupted flow of essential services.

Responsibilities

• Design and Delivery: Collaborate effectively with engineering managers and technical teams to develop and implement data solutions that contribute directly to customer success.
• Data and Model Pipeline Operations: Maintain and operate data and model pipelines, focusing on the ingestion, cleansing, and transformation of inputs to ensure they are analysis-ready and meet the highest standards of quality.
• Customer Delivery Execution: Partner with cross-functional, customer-focused teams, including Customer Success and GIS, to ensure that insights and recommendations are supported by reliable data inputs.
• Monitoring and Improvement: Oversee existing tools and workflows, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose enhancements to streamline our platform and data science models.
• Innovation and Iteration: Stay informed of best practices in data engineering and analytics, introduce innovative ideas, and contribute to rapid iteration and improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• A strong foundation in programming principles and proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• A self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
• A strong interest in data engineering, analytics, and machine learning applications.
