Job Description
Cognizant is conducting a Walk-in Drive in Hyderabad for freshers to join as News Analysts. This role is integral to the algorithm training process, where analysts help define critical factors for clients by staying at the forefront of breaking news. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze real-time data from multiple datasets.
- Identify and investigate errors in news alerts and captions.
- Cross-check information with social media posts for accuracy, completeness, and factual correctness.
- Write and edit captions for social media posts.
- Audit and programmatically apply business rules for data validation.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) on algorithmic outputs to improve dataset quality.
- Stay updated on new policies, processes, and procedures impacting the QA workflow.
- Adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
Qualifications
- Freshers who graduated in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Must have a three or four-year full-time degree.
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political/Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Expertise in mass communications, copy editing, journalism, or similar assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Goal and result-oriented mindset.
- Strong English skills at a B2 level or higher.
