Job Description

This is a hiring challenge designed to identify and recruit talented tech professionals for Cyient’s offices in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The challenge focuses on building intelligent engineering solutions and shaping the future in areas such as AI/ML, Cloud, Data Science, Software Development, Test Automation, and Cyber Security. Participants will tackle real-world problem statements related to cloud-first, AI-driven, and highly connected systems, requiring them to balance innovation, performance, security, and compliance. The event aims to build a talent pipeline for future strategic engagements by identifying individuals with strong coding, algorithmic, and engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Design of modern data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh, fabric)
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming platforms, and cloud-native data services
• Engage in AI/ML model development, deployment, monitoring, and MLOps practices
• Work with Gen AI LLMs, RAG, Finetuning, and Agentic Orchestration using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Microsoft Agent Framework
• Implement AI-based data extraction from various file formats including 2D/3D engineering diagrams, image files, scanned PDFs, and .DWG files
• Ensure governance, compliance, and responsible handling of sensitive and regulated data
• Apply secure coding practices across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Perform vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security automation
• Integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop secure software for cloud, web, and embedded platforms
• Implement secure-by-default coding libraries, reusable security components, and policy-driven code templates
• Harden Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and implement automated drift detection for Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation
• Develop self-defending applications using runtime security controls like RASP and in-app telemetry
• Enforce secure API schema validation, input sanitization, and data-protection across microservices
• Build automated pipelines to block insecure dependencies, enforce code-signing, and conduct continuous secrets scanning
• Practice hardened firmware development, including secure boot, memory-safe coding, and Over-The-Air (OTA) security
• Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing across cloud, web, network, and embedded environments
• Apply global security frameworks and standards (OWASP, NIST, ISO, PTES)
• Implement cloud security practices for AWS, Azure, and containerized environments
• Secure microservices, harden APIs, and implement exploit mitigation strategies
• Simulate red-teaming scenarios including privilege escalation, lateral movement, and cloud misconfiguration exploitation
• Perform fuzz testing for embedded systems and API endpoints to uncover memory-safety issues and logic flaws
• Implement secure container builds, container runtime hardening, and validate Kubernetes RBAC & network policies
• Utilize SAST/DAST tools to generate exploit-ready test cases and confirm remediation effectiveness
• Demonstrate understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Utilize automation with scripting, test frameworks, and version control
• Exhibit analytical thinking, defect prevention, and continuous quality improvement
• Apply foundational knowledge of AI/ML

Qualifications

• 3 months – 3 years of professional experience in relevant technologies
• BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA with specialization in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Graduates from 2025 and before
• Passion for building intelligent engineering solutions
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML
• ISTQB (Foundation Level) or equivalent certification (for Quality Engineering)
