Job Description
DoorDash Labs, an independent team within DoorDash, is seeking a Maps Specialist to contribute to the long-term transformation of last-mile logistics through robotics and automation. The role involves curating new zones for HD maps essential for the autonomous delivery robot. Responsibilities include using in-house tools to annotate real-world features like lane geometry, junction locations, and traffic lights into these maps. These detailed maps are critical for the autonomous driving capabilities, enabling the expansion of robot operations into new neighborhoods and cities for customer deliveries. The position requires a proactive individual who can manage assigned map zones, maintain high-quality standards to minimize rework, suggest tool and process improvements, and collaborate effectively with other map curators to ensure timely delivery of high-quality maps.

Responsibilities
- Take charge to execute the required tasks for the map zones that are assigned.

- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle systems.
