Responsibilities
- Establish a close working relationship with the business unit to find and investigate operational opportunities and areas of impactful analytics to support cost reduction and operational savings.
- Provide a structure for business initiative monitoring and make sure the business unit is informed in the event of a problem.
- Provide assistance with data requests and analysis for tax audits.
- Provide sophisticated insights-driven analytics and data visualization.
- Monitoring features and programs after launch: evaluate their effectiveness and provide insights to the product and business teams.
- Encourage the company to adopt a self-serve analytics culture by teaching partners about important reports, data, and best practices for data interpretation.
- To ensure visibility across functions, keep up a close and proactive working relationship with other business departments, such as the teams in charge of customer services, legal, and finance.
Education Qualifications
- To guarantee cross-functional visibility, continue to work closely and proactively with teams from other business departments, such as customer services, legal, and finance.
Skills
- Curiosity for learning, a love of solving problems, and ease with ambiguity
- outstanding technical abilities, particularly in SQL, for process development and data analysis.
- adept at using self-serve platforms like Tableau and data visualization
- competent with Tableau and other self-serve tools and data visualization
- a track record of success in end-to-end analytics, including problem formulation, gathering necessary data, analyzing findings, creating and presenting a strong case, and persuading partners to take action
- possessing both agile and large data (Hadoop, Teradata, etc.) handling expertise
- Capacity to convert business needs into software solutions
- competent to function both independently and as a member of a global tax team
- It is beneficial to have experience with advanced analytics and to have demonstrated proficiency with Python and SQL.
