Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records pertaining to all hardware and software assets within the organization.
- Provide support for the procurement and efficient deployment of IT equipment to end-users.
- Assist in license compliance audits and the renewal process to ensure adherence to licensing agreements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and procurement departments, to maintain data integrity and accuracy across systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of asset lifecycle processes, encompassing acquisition, deployment, relocation, and eventual retirement or disposal.
- Generate regular and insightful reports on asset utilization metrics and compliance status, providing valuable data for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or actively pursuing degree completion).
- Fundamental understanding of IT hardware components, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals, as well as software licensing principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, databases, or specialized asset management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
