The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is a statutory organization established by the Government of India through the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, which was enacted by Parliament in December 1985 and became effective on February 13, 1986. APEDA serves as the primary body responsible for promoting the export of agricultural and processed food products from India, specifically those listed in the Schedule of the APEDA Act, 1985.

Qualifications
- Assistant General Manager (Information Technology):
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized University/Institution
(ii) Five years of experience in the relevant fields after obtaining the aforementioned educational qualification - Assistant Manager (Agriculture) / Assistant Manager:
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plantation/ Agriculture Engineering/ Agriculture and Cooperation/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Dairy Technology / Food Processing/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology/Food Science/Food Science and Technology from a recognized University/Institution
