The Problem Setting team at HackerEarth is responsible for developing novel questions for public and private hackathons, challenges, and our technical assessment product.

Responsibilities
- Creating problems encompassing data structures, algorithms, and mathematics across various difficulty levels.
- Developing real-world programming problems and rigorously testing problems created by other problem setters.
- Reviewing HackerEarth’s existing question bank to identify and rectify technical errors, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Implementing code stubs (partial code solutions) within the problem editor to enable candidates to focus on the logical aspects of problem-solving, rather than syntax.
- Addressing queries, suggestions, and issues raised by candidates interacting with problems on the HackerEarth platform.
- Collaborating closely with the technical documentation team to eliminate contextual ambiguities or grammatical errors from questions.
