JOB DESCRIPTION:
- AlphaSense is looking for several experienced transcript editors to join our team and help transform recorded events, such as interviews, webcasts, and phone calls, into accurate, well-organized transcripts for AlphaSense’s clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening abilities, a strong command of English grammar, the capacity to work rapidly and efficiently while producing high-quality results, and meticulous attention to detail. The position primarily involves editing transcripts so they correspond verbatim to audio files, accurately recognizing speaker names, product names, and numbers, and correcting grammar and punctuation within strict turnaround times.

the selected Should have excellent English & Telugu communication with a decent accent
●Review, revise, and proofread transcripts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company standards and formatting requirements.
Detect and fix errors involving grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and the identification of speakers and products.
Verify that transcripts are accurate within their context and incorporate industry-specific terminology when relevant, using in-house custom dictionaries or independent internet searches as needed.
Organize, format, and submit transcripts in the specified format and by the established deadlines.
Protect confidentiality and manage sensitive content discreetly.
Maintain consistent concentration to achieve the best possible turnaround times.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in transcription, editing, or a related field.
Strong listening abilities and the capacity to understand various accents and audio qualities.
Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver error-free work.
Proficiency in using text-editing and document-formatting software, such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
Proficiency with additional tools, including instant messaging applications, Excel, email, and more.
Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple editing projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with AI transcription tools would be advantageous.
Broad financial literacy and a general understanding of financial market concepts would be advantageous.
Knowledge of particular industries and companies, such as finance, tech, medical, and biotech, along with their terminology, would be advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
Experience transcribing and/or editing calls, webcasts, or medical reports within a short timeframe.
Experience with CK Editor or other editing software would be beneficial but is not required.
