Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated and meticulous Associate Automation Engineer to become an integral part of our QA team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience to advance their careers in software testing and automation. Responsibilities
- Engage in the testing of web-based applications to ensure optimal performance, usability, and stability.
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, including both manual and automated tests.
- Design and manage automated test scripts utilizing Selenium or Playwright in conjunction with Java.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and fellow QA team members to thoroughly understand requirements and devise appropriate test scenarios.
- Conduct regression testing and diligently report identified issues with clarity and precision.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git, and bug tracking tools such as JIRA (or equivalent).
- Provide support for build verification processes and release readiness assessments.
- Continuously learn and implement testing best practices, contributing to the improvement of QA processes.
- Adhere to established internal control procedures.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of manual testing principles and web application workflows.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience through training or academic projects using Selenium or Playwright with Java.
- Exhibit a basic understanding of Java browser developer tools.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Git and version control methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, such as AWS, is considered advantageous.
