Job Description

The Media Operations Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality, daily press review packages to a global client base. This involves utilizing specialized software to analyze and synthesize information from diverse sources, including print and electronic publications, online content, and social media. The role requires close collaboration with the Global Content Hub (GCH) and other internal teams to monitor content ingestion, manage production workflows, and maintain rigorous quality control within a dedicated QC environment. The analyst will be producing a broad range of press review products tailored to the specific needs of a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• ● Implement new services and modifications within the client management tool.
• ● Leverage client data provided by the Client Services team through the CRM system.
• ● Update client briefs with precise instructions regarding keywords, formatting specifications, and media preferences.
• ● Provide constructive feedback to the Client Services team, highlighting any challenges encountered or additional guidance required for optimal service delivery.
• **Press Review Quality Control (QC):**
• ● Accurately sort, edit, analyze, and format press packages according to each client's unique requirements.
• ● Meticulously interpret client briefs and apply the specified instructions for keywords, formatting, and media preferences.
• ● Summarize content concisely and accurately, adhering to each client's editorial style guide.
• ● Validate and ensure the complete accuracy of each press review.
• ● Process content with efficiency and precision, maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• ● Conduct thorough quality proofing and assurance of all content within the GCH/Press Review system.
• ● Actively receive and apply feedback from both the Client Services and Operations teams to refine understanding of and adherence to account briefs.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Media (Communications, Journalism, or a related field).
• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.

Skills

• ○ Impeccable English-language proficiency, both written and verbal.
• ○ A strong understanding of the global media landscape, including news cycles, and the impact of media on corporate communication and strategic planning.
• ○ Proven ability to efficiently read, comprehend articles, and identify and extract key details for further analysis.
• ○ Existing knowledge or a demonstrable capacity to quickly learn and retain industry-specific terminology and issues relevant to various key sectors.
• ○ Ability to rapidly learn and consistently adhere to client-specific requirements and guidelines.
• ○ Exceptional proofreading skills, coupled with the ability to consistently meet strict deadlines.
• ○ Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
