Job Description

The Data Analyst Associate role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to elicit and document comprehensive business requirements. The incumbent will analyze existing business processes to identify areas ripe for optimization and translate gathered requirements into detailed, unambiguous specifications. This role necessitates serving as a crucial communication bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless understanding and alignment regarding project objectives and needs. Facilitating the prioritization of the product backlog, the Data Analyst Associate will work collaboratively with product owners and development teams to refine priorities in accordance with overarching business goals. Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts to validate the functionality and suitability of IT solutions is a core responsibility. The position also includes contributing to change management initiatives by assessing the impact of proposed modifications on existing business processes and systems, as well as aiding in communication and training activities. Furthermore, the individual will analyze data to extract actionable insights, identify opportunities for process enhancements, and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to comprehensively gather and meticulously document detailed requirements for IT projects, ensuring strict adherence to and alignment with overarching business objectives.
• Thoroughly analyze existing business processes to pinpoint areas of potential improvement and proactively identify opportunities to leverage IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Convert complex business requirements into clear, concise, and readily understandable functional specifications, including well-defined user stories, comprehensive use cases, and measurable acceptance criteria, to effectively guide development activities.
• Act as a critical liaison, fostering effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams, thereby ensuring a shared and comprehensive understanding of project goals and requirements.
• Collaborate actively in the strategic prioritization of the product backlog, working closely with product owners and development teams to meticulously refine priorities and guarantee alignment with key business priorities.
• Oversee and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts with relevant business stakeholders to rigorously validate that implemented IT solutions fully meet specified functional requirements and effectively address core business needs.
• Provide robust support for change management initiatives by carefully assessing the potential impact of proposed changes on existing business processes and systems. Also, coordinate communication and training activities with all affected stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify significant trends, patterns, and actionable insights that can inform strategic business decision-making processes and support continuous improvement endeavors.
• Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement and optimization, effectively leveraging IT solutions to drive tangible business value and achieve defined strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field of study.
• Associate: Prior experience is not required.
• Standard I: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Standard II: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Senior I: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Senior II: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
