Job Description

Job Summary/Objective:

To ensure the safety, security, and punctuality of operations in compliance with the Ground Operations Manual and all relevant protocols.

Responsibilities

• Officer – AO&CS (Terminal Services)
• Reservations & Ticketing:
• Processing reservations at the counter
• Selling tickets
• Managing cash remittances to the appropriate department
• Addressing customer inquiries via telephone
• Departures:
• Attending pre-flight and post-flight briefings
• Preparing check-in counters
• Screening checked baggage
• Maintaining high standards of check-in procedures
• Assisting customers with specific needs
• Arrivals:
• Assisting customers with specific needs
• Supporting customers with mishandled or damaged luggage and generating necessary reports
• Coordinating with baggage vendors regarding damaged luggage
• Following up with connecting stations about lost luggage
• Post-Flight Departure:
• Filing all required flight documentation
• Officer – Security
• Upholding company standards and requirements
• Ensuring effective threat assessment and response capabilities
• Achieving departmental goals and monitoring their implementation
• Executing duties as outlined in the Security Programme
• Maintaining performance standards and communicating them within the shift
• Continuously monitoring the Quality System and conformance levels
• Securing quality benchmarks and optimizing resource utilization
• Maintaining awareness of emergency response procedures, rules, and regulations
• Acquiring and maintaining necessary job-related skills
• Adhering to work procedures according to company guidelines
• Participating in development discussions with team leaders
• Controlling theft and pilferage of company property
• Officer – AO&CS (Ramp)
• Verifying the flight’s Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) through the OCC or Navitaire system
• Receiving the bay number from Apron control and communicating it via Radio Transmission (R.T.)
• Being present at the designated bay 20 minutes prior to arrival (D-20) with all necessary equipment
• Recording touchdown and chocks times and communicating them via R.T.
• Aligning the ramp correctly
• Ensuring sufficient coaches are available for passenger disembarkation
• Ensuring baggage reaches the arrival area before passengers
• Supervising cleaning operations and obtaining boarding clearance from cabin crew, then announcing it via R.T.
• Verifying loading is performed according to the Loading Instruction Report (LIR)
• Returning all equipment to the transport yard post-departure
• Completing ramp documentation
• Ensuring smooth, safe, and punctual operations during the flight

Qualifications

• Graduation is a mandatory requirement for freshers
• Visible tattoos are not permitted
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, is required
• A valid passport is mandatory
• Experienced candidates are required to submit:
• Previous employment letters or experience certificates
• An AEP (Airport Entry Permit) surrender copy (for candidates with prior aviation experience)
