Job Description

KLDiscovery, an established global leader in electronic discovery, information governance, and data recovery services, has an opening for a Data Management Analyst.

The Data Management Analyst is accountable for the successful execution and resolution of issues pertaining to sophisticated technical processes and procedures. This role directly contributes to the delivery of high-quality, timely results for both internal and external clients. The Analyst will also collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including fellow analysts, project managers, and leadership, to ensure work requests are completed accurately and within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Electronic Discovery and Data Delivery (EDD), Data Hosting, Project Management, and Data Management teams to investigate and resolve escalated issues encountered during processing. Additionally, the Analyst will request and perform quality control checks on completed tasks.
• Communicate task status and completion updates to relevant parties, addressing project-specific inquiries regarding actively assigned tasks and providing necessary reporting.
• Engage constructively and collaboratively with colleagues, maintaining a consistent focus on enhancing efficiency and overall quality.
• Process and deliver data productions in accordance with specific client requirements.
• Normalize data received from external clients, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Format and deliver all non-hosting deliveries of processed Electronic Discovery materials.
• Process and fulfill specialized client requests that extend beyond the traditional Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
• Conduct rigorous quality assurance procedures for completed tasks within data management workflows to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Accurately record all billable hours associated with performed procedures in the designated time portal system.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and a thorough knowledge of all company products, services, and technologies.
• Effectively manage shifting requirements, workloads, and priorities to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
• Adhere to established KLDiscovery processes and procedures to maintain operational consistency and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall team and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential for effective communication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively communicate complex solutions that integrate technology and services is necessary.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to comprehend and articulate advanced technological and business concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience with programming, scripting, and regular expressions is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Relativity is a plus.
• SQL proficiency is a plus.
• Requires technical knowledge of at least one common Litigation Support tool, including but not limited to: Concordance (preferred); Ipro; LAW; Summation.
