Job Description

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee to serve as a Data Visualization Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights through the creation of visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports. This position requires close collaboration with business teams, data engineers, and analysts to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and analyze diverse datasets to prepare them for comprehensive reporting and visualization.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, charts, and reports utilizing industry-standard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Translate intricate data sets into easily understandable and visually appealing presentations for a variety of business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the automation of recurring reports and visualization updates to improve efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gain a thorough understanding of business requirements and objectives.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and high quality of data across all visual outputs.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data visualization and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable data visualization tools is also required.
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and other data querying languages.
• Prior experience utilizing Python or R for data analysis is highly desirable.
