Job Description

Become a vital part of Tesla's dynamic Engineering & Information Technology team as a Frontend Software Engineer! In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of internal software solutions that directly support the critical processes of designing, obtaining permits for, and installing Tesla Energy and Vehicle products. Your contributions will be essential in building a robust and scalable platform, optimizing process management for both existing and upcoming Tesla product lines. This platform will empower internal teams to meticulously track, standardize, automate, and continually optimize every stage of energy installation projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to tackle stimulating, real-world challenges, and to directly contribute to the advancement and proliferation of renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Education Qualification

• -Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent professional industry experience that demonstrates relevant skills, technical expertise, and in-depth knowledge.

Skills

• -Demonstrated solid understanding of fundamental web technologies, encompassing HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON, with the ability to apply them effectively in development.
• -Possess strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including advanced DOM manipulation techniques and a deep understanding of the JavaScript object model.
• -Demonstrate a solid understanding of database principles, including the design of efficient queries and the ability to update and manipulate SQL databases effectively.
• -Possess a thorough understanding of REST principles and proven best practices for both building and consuming RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration and efficient data exchange.
• -Demonstrate a thorough understanding of core design principles and commonly used design patterns within the React ecosystem, including state management, component composition, and performance optimization.
• -Experience with common front-end development and build tools such as Vite, NPM, Yarn, and Webpack, enabling efficient development workflows and optimized application performance.
• -Hands-on experience with GraphQL is considered a significant plus, indicating familiarity with modern API development and data fetching techniques.
